ABOUT MENORCA EXPERIMENTAL
Reborn from the glorious remains of a 19th century estate, with 30 hectares of land, Menorca Experimental is an agrotourism hotel that includes two restaurants based on locally sourced Mediterranean cuisine: the main farm, where we serve breakfast and dinner service, the terrace overlooking the pool where guests can enjoy a delicious lunch.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Waiter Intern with wine knowledge to join our team and contribute to an exceptional dining experience.
Your responsibilities:
Provide excellent table service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests
Take and serve orders, attend to guest needs, and maintain attention to detail throughout the service
Share wine knowledge and assist guests with wine selections and food pairings
Support wine service: presentation, decanting, and serving by the glass when required
Assist with the setup and clearing of the dining area, maintaining cleanliness and organization
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience
Stay informed about wine trends and menu updates to enhance guest recommendations
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience as a chef de rang, waiter, or similar role in fine dining or hotel settings
Strong knowledge of gastronomy and wine; sommelier training or experience is a plus
Excellent customer service skills, attentive to guest needs and detail-oriented
Sociable, engaging, and motivated
Organized, proactive, and adaptable under pressure
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
